Title: Awesome Nats reporting! Thanks especially to Al and Dave!
Post by: Bruce Perry on July 20, 2013, 02:47:55 PM
Well further to the first thread about needing Nats reporting, the call was answered in fine fashion!  Allan's coverage in Nats news covered the full sights and personalities present.  He has a great eye for photos and his reports delivered the feeling in very high quality!  A sincere thank you Allan from myself and the worldwide stunt community!

Dave, covered the play by play as if he were talking to us alongside him.  I loved the Lap times and other commentaries.   The up to the moment shots of the scoreboard answered lots of questions and raised a few questions too!  Again Dave a huge thank you to you for your efforts!

To all the others who posted thanks to you too!  And keep the stories coming!  Get home relax and start typing your story!  Even consider sending it to Bob with some pics!!  Just saying.....

See you all next year

Bruce

This has to be the most watched NATS from afar that ever was. People from around the world were on their computors as Dave gave us a blow by blow detail of what was happening. Just unheard of coverage. Thank you so much Dave and others that contributed to our desire to know what was happening. Congratulations to Joe Gilbert for Rookie of the Year, to Paul Walker for winning another one, and all the others that made up a great NATS. THANK YOU.

I hope the same style report can be given by someone every year. Amazing to say the least. My refresh button needs a break!

I know that I enjoyed the play by play for the Nats this year as well as last year here in Korea.  Even though I was staying up later than normal, it was certainly worth it.  Thank you for keeping those of us not there in tune with what is going on.

I made it home last night and I hope everybody else has or will get there safely.  So very many thanks again to everyone for the kind words coming to me.  It is becoming a labor of love.
On the way back, and today is a time to reflect on those great friends old and new.  It is also a time for me to reflect on my own performance and to find places to improve.  I usually make myself a take-away list of what I learned and those things I need to change while still very fresh in my mind.
So today we start once again to prepare for the next one.  I'm going to check out that new high def, projection, wide angle lens video camera and will test fly that new airplane today or tomorrow.   I'm usually more wound up to go after these things than before.  Good Luck and Thank You to all.  See you on the LPad!!!!

Dave

Thank you Bruce!

Thank you Bruce!

Dave,
Your comments and details on the NATS were a welcomed and anticipated report. All that was needed was to hit the refresh icon on the task bar and the line by line "almost live" comment would be displayed.
I will definitely plan to meet you and many of the guys (if they attend, God willing) at next year NATS. Even if I am not still able to fly, it is my goal. Thank you so much for your "work of love"  #^

Best,
RAFAEL
