Title: avistar .46 RC
Post by: Steven Kientz on May 25, 2009, 11:52:04 AM
Would these engines converted to a venturi perform alright for sport flying? Is there any case differences between the RC version and the CL version that Brodak carries. I would like to just replace the carb with a venturi and NVA.

thanks
Steve

I would think for sport flying it would be just fine. The ST 51 venturi and nva are a drop in for that engine, also the nva goes through the venturi above the engine case so no drilling involved.

According to the Sam's Stuff and Hobbies web site and what has been reported previously on this forum, they are not the same.  8)

I knew with $70 difference in price something was different. Leester thanks for the info on the St parts, didn't know that.
