AVIATION BUFF'S GOTSTA-CHECK OUT THIS WEBSITE!
« on: March 05, 2007, 10:03:54 AM »
Anyone who loves to read about aviation history...especially in Southern California region, this is one beautiful website by the gifted  J. Ron Dickson, modelmaker-historian-writer and talented webmaster. Check out his beautifully written & researched articles.

http://www.godickson.com/ahsfv.htm     and enjoy Ron's flight through history!

Ron! What a talent. I should have made his talented father OUR STUNT GRUNT GRUNTSTER' for today who was an avid stunt flyer in the California area. Beautiful B&W photos...make this website of Ron's one heck of a gift for today.

great site shultzie!

I recently found some great info on this place were my parents take me once in a while for driving lessons. I decided to look it up and found out it was a well used airport,People like Howard Hughes and Amelia Earhart took off from there on some of there flights! I instantly fell in love with the place.
The name of it is ''Floyd Bennett field'' I'll try to post some info.

I never new i could find such great aviation history here in Brooklyn NY lol

Last Sat night...Carol and I were invited to dinner at a neighbor's home..and they had friends visiting from Seattle. He is a car buff and mentioned that he had a fully restored 67 Shelby. Al's car is painted silver with the black accents...

Hi Steve,
I saw Eleanor yesterday when I took my wife to brunch. I guess there are a few clones out there. What i didn't realize was that it had GT500 badges on it. Cool looking Mustang.
