Hi Guys:
Today, 24/02/2009, happening the "avant premiere" of FW 190 D - Dora - Defense of Reich.
It's a good flyer!
The big Saito 72 with Pat manifold is a BIG engine!
I use a prop 14x6 JXF, wood, and 20/20 (only syntetic oil) fuel.
A pics.
After, a link of youtube.

Elizio,
Man, that is just cool. Bet it looks just gorgeous in the air. Very nice would, sir!
-
Thanks Randy!
I need a wedge in fuel tank; in inverted position, the engine to stay very rich.
But pay attention: no move this needle valve - the Saito is a Swiss watch.
Lap in 5.1 s, and 8.000 rpm.

As the builder of an "in progress" semi scale stunt bf 109, I certainly appreciate all your work, it looks really awesome! Glad its looking like a good flier for you. Hope mine is as good when I get it done,,
Randy, this year I promise,, before regionals!

Congratulations Elizio! CLP** CLP** CLP**
Beautiful rendition of the "Dora"!
Keep us posted with the flight trimming of the plane. It seems that the Saito can handle those 2 kilos with great authority.
Tell us how it feels like on the overhead maneuvers and corners #^
Till then,
Claudio.

Love the video with one exception. Maybe it's me, but, for safety I always try to go behind airplane while walking out to the handle, just me. The Saito sounds great and looks like pulls with authority. Have fun, DOC Holliday
