This mornings  Aviation Webcast had an interesting article about Internet Sar's team that uses new technology for finding lost or downed aircraft. This technology is also used for search teams in many other related services...that can do many other kinds of searches for all kinds of situations.
Almost scareeeee' the implications. (Gee...I hope my beloved wife doesn't have access to this service to find where I go to fly my kites---etc.
BE VERY VERY VERY WARY...MY MODELIN-ADDICTED FRIENDS! BIG BROTHA AND MOMMA AND PAPAAA'S ARE WATCHING FROM THE SKYS.... H^^ ~^

www.internetsar.org/about.html  (hummm? guess they know too much about Sparky's hanger bunch already? LL~ LL~

Seriously though...they welcome folks who own or fly aircraft... or have special skills in many other fields including fire-law-military-skydiving-vocations that can lend help in so many situations that can truly save lives...etc.
