If you get through my security and If you post any type of SPAM here and if it lasts more the 5 views that would be the best you'll get. Its a waste of your time and mine. Your IP will be banned and posts deleted. We had one this morning slip through but it got 3 views before termination.

This may sound simplistic, but maybe you ought to give your definition of "spammer." Is it just a random sales pitch for goods or services? Usually just a link to another website? These type get through to Yahoo special interest groups now and then and it's usually through the email of a member that gets daily posts in digest form in their email. Most owner/moderators of Yahoo sites don't allow attachments of any kind, and there is a separate part of each individual site for photos and information files and that eliminates a lot. I can't say that I have ever seen what I call spam on here before.

Dan has stated my querie exactly. Which and what? I have benefitted immensely from leads and shared info from my brothers on here, with many of them being a website or link.
I can't recall ever seeing 'spam', Stunthanger has been a safe haven for me to 'hang in' since you started it!

I guess I haven't seen *any* of that - this place has been clean as a whistle as far as that goes. Try USENET sometime, it's now utterly useless because there are thousands of bot postings a day on every group.

And I am not interested in that, but if there are any business opportunities in Nigeria, or you know a good place to find Russian mail-order brides, then, that might be timely information. Followed by places to get organic Viagra cheap.

We try to stay up on it. I get enough Viagra ads as it is. Of coarse some might could use it as Stunt flying suppose to be hard anyway.

Well, it's sort of a moot point if I can't get my money from Nigeria to pay for my Russian bride, isn't it?
I don't know if there is a place to put a junk mail filter but some of them work awfully well. I see very few of them on my regular mail any more because the filter in Mail.app catches them.

I do have spam assassin email filters turned on here. No one can harvest your email address from here in lots. If someone happens to slip through the cracks they could send 10 emails from here in a hr. But its never happened and I am sure it would be a quick fix to stop them. If anyone ever got 10 off it would supprize me.

I know of a stunt flier who knew about pyramid power. He said, in all seriousness, that he found a solution to his solid lines sticking. He stored his solid lines not under a pyramid, but under a book about the pyramids. Gotta love that!
