At the swapmeet today and engine question
« on: January 25, 2014, 06:10:38 PM »
Today my Club had our annual Swapmeet. It ended early due to the snow that was falling pretty heavily this morning. I bought two engines from Byron barkers stuff. One is an O.S.  Max FP .25 that was not reworked by byron. However, there are markings on the engine mount. The markings say PSJ Custom. Does anyone know who PSJ Custom is?

PSJ happens to be Pat Johnston's initials, but I'm not aware that he did engine reworks for others. I'm sure he'd be very capable and wouldn't even sell it if it didn't work right. Randy Powell would be the one to ask about this, other than Pat hisself. You might try a PM or email to Pat and/or Randy. Since Pat (and Randy and Mark) was heavily into pylon racing, it's possible that it might have been tuned up for a club .25 pylon class.  y1 Steve
