Articles for planes

I did this a few years ago when I built the Jack Sheeks Staggerwing Bipe. I had found out the issue, month and year. Went to AMA museum while at the NATS and found the article. Ran thru copy machine and put the magazine back in place. I don't know if they will do that for mailing, but it might be worth a try. Remember the time zones and business hours.

Hi Doc,
Unfortunately, I'm not sure any of these articles are available from AMA outside of the USA.
Thanks,
-Danny

There is the postal system. Just do a search of the site for the right person and they may be able to help you. If I lived in Muncie I would do it for you. All my mags have been trashed or given away.
There should be an E-mail for the museum in the listings. I may look for you.

Go to AMA site and click on Museum. Looks like almost anything and everything you wanted to know is there.

Doc, did you get around to building the Staggerwing? If so, how did it fly?, I've fancied one ever since I saw one at the 1966 British Nationals. I have that copy of FM in my collection.
Cheers

The Staggerwing was built and flown at VSC many years ago. Flew in several contests after VSC. When I pulled it out of the car at VSC there were so many cameras. Last I seen of it was when I gave it to Elwyn Aud in Tulsa. It was a great flying airplane for me. Also Jack said putting the OS .40 in it was a good choice. It was an easy build except for nose where it fairs into the fuse and landing gear. When I get done with the projects I have lined up I will build another one. A Folkerts is in the line up.
