Not for me, but... This is the new 'stunt' 60, and and a plain Jane ARF Strega from Brodak. Any suggestions on props? Probably doing the Brodak 22 or 23 % blended stuff, at 5% nitro. Engine has been broken in (I think). We have a huge assortment of 2 blades at our disposal.
What not to waste our time with, what to shoot for... Am a 40 - 46 guy myself. Them sixties are to big for me. Suggestions?

Hi, Clayton
Long time no see! I have a PA .61 and will be using a 12.5 4.0 Bolly cut down from a 13 on it, sure hope I don' break it! Ugh, I'd have to wait a while to get another 13 3.75 3 blade Eather prop. I don't think the Fox will have the varoom a PA does, but if it were me, I'd probably start with a 12-13 in prop in the 5 to 6 pitch range and experiment with various other kinks of props, you know the drill..............this, then that, then another and so on!

Brodak had Rev Up 13x5 on the shelf about 2-3 months ago. For an ST or Veco 60, its the pick of the litter. Tom H.

I'd sure try the Thunder Tiger 12.5 x 5.5, Graupner 12-6, and APC's 12.5 x 6. y1 Steve

My Strega with a ST 60 likes a APC 12 x6, With a DS 60 it likes a APC 12 x5. I've tried others with no improvement. Hope that helps.

If you haven't run it - bench run it with an 11x6 first. It should run relatively smooth and start easily. When new they are real shakers but that improves with run time. If it runs OK on the bench any of the above mentioned props should work, I'd suggest a 12x5 or the previously mentioned Thunder Tiger 12.5x5.5. You may find that a 13" prop is too large for this engine. Plan on using at least a six ounce tank. FWIW: Mine has been run in and likes the 12x5 but hasn't been flown.
