Looks like it's no longer possible to grab a picture off the forum. I don't know why, but hope somebody can figure it out. Maybe this is why Sparky hates I.T. guys???

Normally, I left click on the thumbnail to get it expanded. Then right click on the result, and get the dropdown menu with "save picture" and "save target". Either should work, I think. One gets the picture saved as a thumbnail, but neither will work to save the pic as a jpeg. If y'all have a solution, please give it up!  R%%%% Steve

PS: OBTW, the picture I was trying to save was Keith "Goozgog" Morgan's "Scared Kitten". What a nice job  H^^ and a very kewl looking design. What size McCoy izzat?   ;D Steve

Steve- I'm not having any trouble (using IE7.0). Click thumbnail to enlarge, right click "save as:", and its saving the fullsize image.  I tried both images in "Looking for Keith" thread (Has pic of ScaredKitten), and no troubles.

You could do a "print screen" function but I think it saves it as a Bitmap so you would have to crop and then convert it to JPG and I don't know how the quality might be affected.

Works fine for me also.  Just like Richard said,  I had to enlarge first, or it would try and fail to save as .png.  Enlarged saves as .jpg.

Steve, et al

I right click on the picture title below the thumbnail and 'Save target as...'

That gives me the full size pic direct into the current directory and saves a couple of steps.

I know it works because I just tried it.

Cheers, Geoff

Thanks Geoff...that worked as you said. I will have to remember to do that next time. I also just tried what I'd written, left click on the thumbnail, then right click on the jpg (always worked before) and it tried to save as a bitmap. I didn't fall for that, and bailed out. This was exactly as it did the other day, but had never ever happened before.

And no, I hadn't done anything new to the computer at the time of the first post. Spent Wed. afternoon and evening installing a new hard drive (500gig). Most the time was due to transferring everything from the OEM (2002) 200gig hard drive. A lot of the stuff is going to be deleted from one or the other, but the important chit will be left on both. Otherwise, it works better than before. Why it still plays this game with Stunthanger photos I may never understand...  R%%%% Steve
