Does anyone have a prop chart that give you suggestions on what size props to use specifically for control line engine sizes?  I have seen one in the past for RC  but cannot seem to find it and do not know if it would be the same for control line.  Thank you

For the most part, the recommended props would not be used for stunt.

    For exampleI have run 61s since 1999, I use 12.5-3.75 3-blades. It easily handles more diameter, however, that has too much impact on the cornering.

   None of these charts can be compatible with every application just considering engine displacement. If you have an engine in mind, I am sure we can figure out a good starting point.

Trying to insert an image of an Enya prop chart, which shows differences for R/C, C/L & FF applications.  I can't seem to get it to attach the image.  I watched a tutorial and got to the point of "Choose File", which I did, but then there seems to be no way to then attach it.  The name of the file is sitting in the "Attach:" box after the "Choose File" button, so where do I go from here?  Using an iMac.  Can someone help please?

I think Brett is correct in that a simple chart is not practical here as not only do engine types vary but the make and design of props varies so much.
Eg Fox 15 baffle, OS FP15 and ST G15 can all end up with very different props to suit their power band and application.
Even in stunt a ST46 wants a very different prop to a AX46 .
The exhaust system even makes a big difference , maybe a tacho would be just as useful as a chart?

I can't speak to the other two engines, but for a 46LA you want pitch between 3.75 and 4.5, and diameter around 11-12.

The reason for the range is that on a really light plane you want the APC 12.25x3.75, and on a heavy plane you need to unload the engine by going to something like the APC 11x4.  In between (i.e., my porky 54 ounce Twister) you want the ThunderTiger 11 x "5" (with the pitch in quotes; folks who've measured it say it's really a 4.5).

I wouldn't go outside of the APC 12.25x3.75, 11.5x4, 11x4, and the TT 11x5, at least not until I was more of an expert than I am now.

The Thunder Tiger 11 x "5" is labeled as 4.5" pitch, so I think you should look at your propeller with a magnifier, Tim!

And, I have to ask Mike G. which ST .51 he uses, because I know of at least 4 Super Tigres of that displacement, and more would not surprise me.    Steve
