For me I use the Airscrew plastic ones $1:79 for three. I do CA the seam so they don't fall apart. (Never had a problem with one yet)
On some others planes with Little or no room for a filter, I make my own, out of brass. This way I can reduce the diameter to fit in tight spots.
Back to your question....The Local Hobby Shop works for me. y1

I use a small filter that I get from Brodak.  Here is the link.

http://www.brodak.com/shop_productdetail.php?ProductID=8433

I have never had one leak.  They do not take up much space and they are easy to disassemble for cleaning.

Gil,   The other day I was looking around on Google Earth. I looked at Baton Rouge and at the old airport site. I notice what appears to be some control line circles.  Is that right are there circles there?

I like these.

Those are pretty good in real tight spots, and that's what I use if I can't fit one of these:

These have a lot more capacity, and a lot finer second element and get the "fibers" out more consistently. These are by far the most popular in stunt and aren't much bigger around than the Dave Shadel versions.
