Wow. I'll be in the vicinity winter 2018( unfortunately without a U/C ship) . Maybe this will give me further incentive to do a take-apart. God willing, return with a ship for the 2019 season.

We fly in Stuart. One member does fly during the week by himself and he may want company.

I have been to the soccer fields the guys flew on early mornings.  The late Roy Trantham was one of the guys and Andy Arcieno if I remember right was one of the others.   Can't believe its been 11 years when I was there.

Dang, 60 or 70 miles, you must need to fly  ;D Well there are certainly a number of people close enough. The thing is that most people usually start pretty early in the morning but if you come in winter not so much as it does not get as hot and unless you are really a glutton for punishment standing out in 90 heat sort of takes the fun out of it. Anyway the closer the better and you are in luck as there a number that are 15 to 30 minutes away, so you don't have to start driving at 5 am. Just make sure you try to avoid days when the Trump is in town. That ends up screwing the pooch with the traffic. The guy has golf courses all over the general vicinity. Totally hoses traffic as he moves back and forth. :X

There are still a few that fly at Halpatiokee Park in Stuart, I-95 at Kanner.  This is where Doc flew with Roy and Toby.
Dennis Toth would be a contact also.

Lyle,

That's where I fly also. Great field and Len flies during the week days. We all fly on Saturday morning.

If you are serious about showing up, I'll PM you Dennis' e-mail. He checks the weather then sends out a gang e-mail.

PM me.
