Chuck,
There are a bunch of flyers that fly at Scobee Field in Katy, Tx.  It's in Cullen-Barker park.  Just jump on the loop and run around town.  You just missed the contest last weekend.

If you sere a member of PAMPA,  they put out a directory of members.  I don't know if it is on the PAMPA site or not.  Might check later if I remember.

Hey Chuck,
I fly sometimes off the soccer fields at Sylian Rodregueiz Park on FM2351 at Hw 3.  I was out there this morning but the grass was a bit high so I went down to the soccer fields that parallel Hw3 on the other side of 2351.  The grass was a bit high there too and I only flew 3 flights (an accident waiting to happen).  Frank doesn't really like flying off grass.  The world has more soccer fields than .... well than there ought to be.  I'm in Clear Lake (Bay Forest) (281-488-1371) and Darrell Harvin is in Deer Park.  Both of us regularly make the trek to Scobee a couple of time a week during contest season.  Ralph Wentzel (League City Ralph) was in .... well League City .... but he passed away a couple of years back.  JSC has an active RC club that flys on the antenna range at JSC.  There are a bunch of us retired NASA farts that fly electric RC at the field by the Baptist Church at El Dorado and Space Center Blvd on Friday mornings when its calm.  Gimme a call.
