Higher power?

I bought a nib Enya Mk III.15 broke it in put it on a old Streak Jr. and walked over to my local park to do some flying, when I got there I forgot my ni-starter so back home I go and back to the park, guess what?, no stooge line   To heck with it I'm not walking home again so I decide to run a few more tanks through the Enya and relax in the sun, when I'm done and pick up the plane I notice the h-stab/elev seems loose, upon further inspection the stab/elev was completely separated from the fuse the only thing holding it on was the pushrod and v-stab, if I had of flown it it would have crashed for sure possably ruining a new engine! So there ya go proof that a higher power is real, someone was sure watching out for me today

I was raised by a wise old man, my Grandfather.  One of the many sayings he used was, "The Good Lord looks after fools and little children".. And I ain't a little child any more......

So true.  At VSC I had just lost my plane I was going to use in the competition.  Getting ready to move the lines to my Nobler notice some fraying of the lines.  Don't know how far I would gotten.  Also I would not have been the first recipient of the GMA Award(George M. Aldrich Award).  I am sitting there on the grass redoing the lines and thanking the good LORD for helping me.
