After over a year on this forum, suddenly, in the last few days, my log in has started dropping out. I re log, but then it may come up again as if I didn't do anything. What's up?

I've had it drop me a time or two, but it hasn't done that to me lately. What it does do is if I take much more than a minute to write a message, it will not post it. It will just disappear when I try to post.
I entered this in two stages by the edit function to get it to take--- I'm a slow typer

Its not the forum ITS YOUR SETTINGS ON YOUR COMPUTER

It could also be a connection or server problem somewhere between the home computer and the Stunt Hanger server. Depending on where you are and who your internet provider is, the signal may be taking a very complicated and involved path through several computers and servers in its journey. At my house the connection and connection speed is so poor that the phone company refused to sell me internet and I had to go looking for another provider. A while back my son spent about two hours waiting for about three minutes of video to load. Youtube and such are pretty much wishful thinking in this neighborhood.

I think your log-in and things you have viewed information is kept in a cookit. Your security settings may be preventing this information from being stored...not ALL cookies are bad.

The best clue to what was happening came when my home page started locking up and not loading today. I've got my fingers crossed, hope this post works. If not, I guess i'll be outa here.
Apparently, it took resetting my home page to clear up this problem. I'm even able to modify this post, which I couldn't do before, heck I couldn't even make a post.

Most of the trouble I have is after the grand kids get to the computor and pull up programs they supposedly use at school. Then the wife has to go in and reset everything. Like now it keeps telling me I am not connected. Have fun, DOC Holliday

Well other than the incessant BOM arguments n1, no, no problem with the forum!
