  Got 'sperience usin Jett engineering fuel filters?  I need some that will filter well and go into a small space, so any suggestions will be greatly appreciated...

Yes they work. However I want to add this comment. I no longer use fuel filters on board. The fuel gets filtered before it goes into the syringe and that seems to work for me.

The Filter can be taken apart for cleaning Service of the sintered metal Filter insert.
The Filter also has black rubber sealing ring inside.
Filter outer dia. = 0,334 inch
lenght of Filter body = 0,851 inch
allover length = 1,142 inch

 I didn't qualify "small space", looks like less than one inch and no more than 3/16" diameter on the filter..

BTW, all my fuel tanks have 1/8 copper tubes, feedline, overflow and uniflow.
After a certain time, copper tubes builds up inside and outside nasty green corrosion
which are very small parts and will "mix up" with your "clean fuel".
These small corrosion parts can block your NVA in a moment you dont really need (overhead eight) .
I am just to lazy to clean the inside of my tanks with Brake Cleaner Spraycan from
a Automotive parts dealer after each flying session.
So I use onboard filter and fuelcan filters (2) too.
Never had problems with blocked NVA.
BTW, if your engine goes lean after a few flights, your NVA might be halfway blocked.
I belive this hint is helpful for those which are looking for a small and reliable Fuel filter.

IMO, you want to put in the biggest and best filter you possibly can. If you don't have room for a Crap Trap or even an R/C Car filter, you failed to adequately plan ahead. I have used those tiny little Jett and similar Russian filters, and despite having two or three filters in my fueler (I'm not sure if there's one inside the jug at the moment), they don't go long between cleanings which turn out to be always at an inconvenient time and place. But maybe you like to clean your fuel filter after every flying session? Ewwww!  Steve

I clean the tank and fuel system before it goes in the plane, then filter the fuel as it exits the syringe into the tank. That's it. I don't like having too many places for fuel to leak in the plane. No filters in the model.
