Any new word on Al Rabe's condition?
« on: April 23, 2010, 11:25:33 PM »
I removed the other post, sorry to those who had sent Al their well wishes.  But, we need to stay on friendly terms here.

So does anyone have word on Al?  I am praying for his speedy, and total, recovery.

Good Decision, Bill!

Al, as you may know, lots of your CL friends have posted here and on SSWF our wishes for your complete and speedy (as possible) recovery. We hope to hear from you and see many more of your great tutorials and beautiful stunt models on the internet. You're contributions here and on the field have educated and entertained at the highest level.

I hope that someone can keep us up to date on Al's progress.

From VSC 14...

I too wish Al a complete recovery.  When and if I get my Mustunt kit built I need his okay and signature.  Thanks Bill for looking out for us.   H^^

After E mails and a phone call to an old disconnected phone number in my old Boeing phone book...
I still haven't been able to connect with Al? Has anyone received anything from Al...since his unfortunate accident?

Here is a an old print from one of my slides...that I can't seem to locate of Al holding one of Jim Silhavy's FAI Gypy models.

Thanks Kenny Perkins....for your phone call this morning and for sharing some amazing stories from the past and also the present and especially for giving me the latest information about Al's horrific accident.
Thankfully the good news is that he seems to be in  pretty good  spirits....considering that he came so very very close to becoming another infamous version of a human "Texas Road Kill"

After calling Al...I finally made contact with his answering maching...and this after noon "Wiggleee' Rudder Tailed Al" called me to say how much he  has appreciated the many phone calls , E mails of consern  wishing him comfort and a speedy recovering.

However the long road to recovery and healing process appears to be quite a challenge, considering the multi-injuries to a  young kid in his early 70's.  I pray that he'll be back up on that beautiful MUSTANG HORSES of his again...Soon As Possible~!

Times like these...It often so difficult to remember-----------------

TWO OR MORE ADDICTED CLPA ADDICTS "IN THE LORD ABOVE'S HOLY NAME for our friend Al and others that we care so much about in this tattered world... is a proven truth that can not be under rated. H^^ BW@
