Moving is a possibility this summer and you fine fellers in the Huntsville area are a long drive away.
Anyone near Florence?

Just a possibility right now, Ty.
Looks to be 70-75 miles (depending on 'zakly where in H'ville), so not out of the question (and I most surely would at some point, to meet the rest of y'all) but still a ways over for regular flying crashing sessions.  ;D
Actually, Eagleville is only a few miles farther.

Hi Dan -

Is Ronnie on the forum?
Didn't find him among members but I see he flys a good bit with Ty.
Athens is closer but I suspect Ronnie, being a good pilot, would likely not suffer my foolishness lightly.
So far, I think I'm 7 for 9 completed inside loops and about the same for wingovers! ;D

:) Ronnie probably isn't on the forum. I don't know for certain if he even uses email. My phone number for him is lost. I see him at the FF Nats , usually.
Ronnie is a gentleman of the finest sort. He wouldn't have a problem hanging out with a newbie. I do think that he has a good place to fly ukies.

Ronnie and I used to fly at the spare football field at Athens High, but they re-did it and  more or less prevented us from using it, so we flew at the city park on a huge fute ball field (soccer), but they fenced it in and now he flies with us at Milton Frank Stadium in town. We have a contract with the school board to fly using the parking lot on a non interference basis. They even painted three 180 foot circles for us.  At times we fly at Palmer Park in Madison, but too many time people just wander into the flying circle while we are FLYING with not a care in the world!!! Talk about walking dead, so we fly there even less.  H^^

It's always a problem.....
Drag him to Eldorado in a month. The new circle is very nicely paved. Hospitality is first rate and Mark and I know where the rib joint is.

Well, looks like NACA may have a new member in a few months then, Ty.
I met Tom and and his wife last year and I recognize Ronnie - who are the other fellows?

Okay, so you recognize Ronnie on the left.  Next is "The Chief" Ty Marcucci, then Tom Smiley.  The man on the right holding John Rist's enlarged and electric +P Ringmaster is Curtis Comer.  The four young boys on the ground in front are Tome Smiley's grandsons.  I'm supposed to know their names, but can never seem to get faces and names coordinated.  There is Thomas B., Andrew, Michael, and Mathew, all Smileys.  I "think" that is the order of the oldest to youngest of the four.  I don't know who the man between Curtis and Tom.  It could be Tom's son, Thomas W. but I've never met him.

Ty could chime in to correct me.

Excellent, Jim, thanks - that gives me a head start on who's who.
But I believe that's a young lady under the middle of the banner - Tom's granddaughter I'd guess.
And Ty- no offense, but you don't look anything like you're supposed to (according to my imagination).  ;D
(Yes, I know what everyone of you guys I interact with on the forum looks like. Until I meet you or see a pic! LL~ LL~ LL~)
