Hi, Ron
Layfayette Esquadrille is probably the only control line club left in the St. Louis area. I have attached a copy of the club handout. Notice that our meetings are on the second Thursday of the month at 7:00-9:00 PM at the Grand Glaise Library. The library is located just off of State 141 and Big Bend Road. That is about two miles north of the 141/I-44 Intersection. Our May meeting will be this coming Thursday, May 14. Several of our members live just across the river in Illinois. I know they sometimes car-pool to the meeting. We have an alternate flying field in Collinsville (I think!!!). The Illinois members use the alternate site instead of the Buder Park location. The alternate site is the parking lot of a night club (the name escapes me at the moment). We have a Speed and Racing contest this coming weekend May 16-17 at Buder Park.
You are welcome to come to the meetings and the contests and meet some of the members.
regards,
bill marvel
