My son in law is just getting started in control line flying and he loves it! I was wondering if there any Control Line clubs in or close to where he lives (the U.P. of Michigan). Thanks.

Angelo,
What part of the UP?  I am not familiar with too much  CL activity north of Bay City except for one guy near the Lincoln/Harrison area.  Hopefully someone else will chime in.

Thanks John,

He's in Engadine - a hefty 235 miles from Bay City. He has family (parents) he visits often in Grand Rapids, though. That (anything there in GR) may be another avenue to consider. He and my daughter came down for a visit last week, where he flew my Ringmaster (solo!). He left with a Sig Skyray 35 kit, an OS .25 LA engine and a bunch of other goodies to get him started. He's a boat builder by trade (stuff like sea-going canoes and such), so he's really looking forward to getting into this hobby. I'm not familiar with MI, so I'm reaching out to the C/L community here. Hopefully, something will come of it!

We have a place on cedar springs, we fly there most days when it's nice. Give me a PM and I will give you my number.

World class flying over in Cedar Springs.  Steve will be able to hook you up well.  Dick and Pat Imhoff are some great guys too.

For sure let us know when your around GR and we'll get together.
My nephews place is where we fly and it's always mowed and with a really sweet place to fly. I can fly anytime as I am retired so come on down.
