Title: Any CL around Hammond LA?

Hey friends, my wife and I are going to be helping out with Samaritians Purse doing disaster work in the Hammond area. Is there any model airplane flying going on around there?

I think they were taken. The Baton Rouge club now flies at Zachary.

Hi Glenn

We have a club in New Orleans.  We fly at City Park and I posted some pictures in a recent post about the Ringmaster Fly A Thon.  You are welcome to contact us and come visit.  Hammond is about an hour from us.  Scroll down the main forum and look for the Ring Masters Fly A Thon.  I posted 3 pictures of our field for that event.

I fly at South Park in Denham Springs. About a mile off I=12 exit 10. 25 to 30 miles west of Hammond. The club, Baton Rouge Bi-Liners, field is in Zachary. If your looking for a group of people to meet with Mike Griffin is the way to go.

And yes Samaritians Purse is an amazing organization!!!
