Great American ARF-OFF, Davis California
« on: July 07, 2013, 11:16:59 AM »
I didn't see any info on it in the "Events Forum", so posted there what info arrived in my mailbox from Uncle Jimby. I'm not sure if ARC's or OPP's are legal, but I think I read that bonus points are offered for doing the least work. Could be wrong...  n~ Steve

ARF's only - no ARCS. No OPP unless they are OP's ARFS. Extra points awarded if ARF is borrowed. Come on down, the flying/coaching part of the event (Saturday) will be worth the drive.  8)

I haven't got a legitimate ARF. :-[  I guess I could nail together a NoblARF for a PA .40UL on pipe. But it would take me a couple of years to get it trimmed and working the way I'd like it. Sounds like fun, tho.   y1 Steve

Borrow one! Extra points for the additional lack of effort. In fact, what we should do is all get ARFs, build and trim them, and then have someone else fly them - just trade around.

That's what I'm going to do...anyone want to trade an ARF Bi-Slob entry for an ARF Vector 40 entry?  8)
