some more upgrades from our server.Tonight they are experiencing some slow downs with the server I do apologize for any inconvenience.

I am writing today to let you know of a couple of announcements.
The first is that as of Dec 8th at 11 AM we had a massive bandwidth
upgrade that should make things that are bandwidth related MUCH
faster. The past 30 days our bandwidth pipes have been maxed and
although I had ordered the new pipes almost 4 months ago it took a
while to be put in place. We are far ahead of the curve now and
shouldn't have any bandwidth issues going forward. To celebrate our
new found bandwidth we have upped all the bandwidth limits on FTP
downloading and individual site usage. While limitations are still
in place they are 200-500% higher now than they were a few days ago.
This does not affect the individual site transfer (gigs of transfer)
per month, it simply makes data transfer faster. Nothing is required
on your part. Bandwidth related events should just be significantly
faster now.

Next I wanted to address the issue of Spam. The amount of spam that
we are seeing at host has increased by 80% in the last 12 months.
host comes free with Spam Assassin(Available in the contol panel)
to fight spam. Which I have enabled To further help fight spam we have implemented a set
of blacklists to block spam. This was set up and started on December
7th. The blacklists are blocking upwards of 45% of ALL email that we
receive. You should have seen a marked improvement in the amount of
spam you receive by the time you get this email.

For those looking for even more protection from spam and viruses we
now offer an upgraded service called host Antispam. This service
is $1.99 per domain per month for unlimited email to that domain.
This product is based on a 3rd party solution that we have integrated
with our host service. It can used in a "set and go" method where
you sign up and don't touch it again, or it gives you all the
customizable solutions you would expect from an upgraded service.
The spam definitions are updated every 5 minutes, and you can choose
what you would like to do with the spam including marking the subject
in the emails as spam, forwarding all spam to a special "junk mail"
email address or having it deleted on the spot. It also gives you
full stats to show you what it is finding and how many spams it has
blocked for you. This service is available by going to your control
panel and clicking the " Antispam" button located at the top
of your control panel. Which I have paid for to make this site better

We are always working to improve our host. More announcements are
coming next week including our new monitoring service to give you
instant access to information about our servers and our network
environment.
