39.6 onces. More than I would like, but I did thicken the airfoil by 3/16"

I did fly the model once when it was a Super Ringmaster.

Yes, I made the muffler. Randy Ryan was kind enough to Post a few photos of the mufflers he designs and makes.

So I burglared one of his designs. Don't tell Randy.

Thank you, I do think it looks nice for what it is. It was a rebuild.

I don't remember that about the rudder?

The offset you see, is the "exact" same amount of offset which was on the rudder the model originally had. So I kept the offset the same. Just added the adj. lead outs and a weight box.  

I thickened the wing a tad and lengthened the nose for a larger tank, maybe just an inch or a tad less.

Except for the two color top paint and the blue bottom, all the rest is vinyl.

My Saturdays are busy, I've been working when the guys fly on Saturdays.

That McCoy isn't really broken in, I should remove it, mount it on my test model and run a few more tanks.

Plus, if the muffler comes apart or doesn't stay put, better on the test model. That end cap is held on only with that wire spring, as is the muffler.

I brake in engines at the field, only place I have, so I cannot see flying it till November. Not too bad actually.

I'm painting the Mig-3 with semi-gloss as you did.

Charles you have put a lot of work in refinishing that plane.  Other than the wing would never guess it was a Super Ringmaster.  Sure a lot of detail that you put on it.  Now I wait for flight reports.  As great as it looks and the work you put in I would be afraid to fly it. H^^

Certainly I would rather build than fly. No secrete about that.

However, eventually I do get around to flying every model I build. R/C, flew every one I finished, CL, I'll do the same here also. They are getting done.

Unless I sell something first. I've done that before. Anybody want to buy anything?

Do I get apprehensive with a new model? A one of a kind model which I designed, that no one else has one like it in the world.

Second thought, maybe a lot.

In fact, a great deal!

Possibly you're right, I won't fly it.

Maybe I'll have someone else fly it first?

I'm kidding, I don't do that.

All kidding aside, I never fly a model until it's completely ready.

Especially how the engine runs. The McCoy still needs some brake in.

Everything I build will get flown.

I look forward to it.

There's no feeling better than building and finishing a beautiful model, then banging it up on the first flight.

I just saw your reply.

The engine needs a bit more braking in. I'll mount it in my Magician for that. So it could be a couple of weeks before it flies, possibly longer.

Man! That's not too heavy...IMHO...especially for the detailed finish. The McCoy looks sharp sitting up-right, up front. Please lets us know how it flies. Nice looking ship, BTW...I'm partial to "camouflage" finishes.
