Hello everyone,
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the newest future Umland offering. Quite a departure from previous efforts I'm proud to introduce my first ARC model, The Stiletto 660 by Les McDonald. Notice I said ARC... as this model will not come as an ARF. The development of this ARC model was overseen by my father which you all know as builditright, and also was given 100% approval by Les McDonald. This ARC Stiletto 660 will feature improved controls, a split wing construction and all of the other features that you would expect on a competition model. We haven't missed the access hatch for the elevator controls either, it's there too.
The attached photos are of the first prototype (hence the "ARC-1") and there will be a few tweaks to make before it's ready to go but all in all we think that this is a winner just as Les McDonald's original is.
The Stiletto 660's first outing today was flown by Gene Martine of Jacksonville, FL. and has shown the potential that the Stiletto 660 is famous for. I am sure Gene Martine will add some comments here as the winds increased to a point that Gene felt were to high for further testing but judging by his comments and today's results we hope that this model will continue the Stiletto 660's winning ways.

Hi Lee,
I'll make as many that will sell, but for the 1st run I'm going with the min. req. 100 and then see how things go.
If they dont sell then I guess dad will be making alot of his favorite plane. ;) My father wants me to add another design to the mix but If a second run is necessary then I guess I will have to decide then.
BTW... dad built me a new site using his old url, the new site is at http://www.builtrightflyright.com/

Hi Walt,
What engine are you using in the Stiletto ARC? What does she weigh, what length lines are you using? Did you check lap time? Sorry for all the questions, just curious. Thank you Gary

I am please to announce that inspite of only having 12 practice flights, the ARC-1 Stiletto was entered into its first contest at Huntersville NC and will have its first trophy to its credit.
My son Walt and I would like to say thank you to:
Gene Martine for flying the ARC-1 Stiletto, Randy Smith with trimming engine fine tunning, and to all that assisted with pitting.

That is friggin awesome!!!
AWESOME!!! I love it!!!
Anything by Les is cool.
-
Very nice!
Just wondering when it will be available?
-
Still waiting for another sample

Please put me on the list and let me know the price. Hopefully I can afford it when it becomes available. Furthermore, If your ARC is anything like what
your Dad produces, in quality, the level of ARC's will be brought to a new high.
Glad you're back.
