Title: Angela's Lightning Streak Flys!!!!!
Post by: Randy Ryan on July 25, 2014, 05:37:59 AM
Angela finally flys her Lightning Streak "Green Lightning"!!! (thank you Charles for the vinyl). She did very well and got over her crash jitters. 5 flights, 3 assisted loops and a solo greased in landing!  I'm very proud of her and we are making every effort to get her out once a week at least now.

That is great news for Angela getting good flights.   Won't let my grandson see this as she is so good looking.   He is doing climbs, dives and wing overs.   He has also learned you can't land on a cloud.   You have to land on the grass.   Now keep at it young lady. H^^

Brother Randy,

It is great to see Amanda doing so well!  Let's hope she sticks with it.  Tell her we are all pulling for her!

Thanks all, she had quite a bout with fear after crashing my Skyray (my fault BTW) and was afraid to crash hers. We had the Skyray with us last night but couldn't fly it because it developed a tank leak. So we fly hers and it all went well. She said during the last flight she wanted to do a loop but wasn't comfortable enough yet without me right there. Good call on her part, sure hoping she wants to get deeper involved as we go along.

Here's hopin' Paul!!!!  We got to fly again Saturday and she's getting very comfortable with it. I had to remind here to stay a little higher for now because she's flying right off her shoulder! She's about ready to start some basic maneuvers so I think I'll start her on some shallow wingovers gradually increasing to vertical, then some loops. She is so natural I see nothing to stop her from learning the Beginner pattern rapidly except her own need for confidence, which will come in time.

Get her started on inverted flight early, before here upright flight reflexes are fully settled in!

That comes with elongated loops.
