Oh my!

Obviously this project was started before gasoline prices started going up to todays norm.

Myself? If I could afford the fuel bill to ride it I could maybe go till it needed its tune up then I would have to sell it... at that point it would be a hard sell needing a tune up!

Sounds really smooth though!

I had a friend in the early '7s that had one of those Kawasaki three cylinder, two stroke 750s... That thing was just scary to ride. Immensely quick. Scary quick...

There's a link to a movie of the thing starting up and running, so you can have your wish, Elwyn! It's at the top of the page...kinda inconspicuous, I must say. Hot blue, tho.

I'd guess that the Calipornia EPA would have a hissy fit over this bike. How much did they nail West Coast Custom Choppers for?  LL~ Steve

Thanks. I hadn't noticed the link. I bet it sounds a little different in person though. Kind of like the difference between  hearing someone fire off a shotgun in person verses the sound of a shotgun on a video.

I was a combat medic with the 2nd 144th feild artillery  battery camp Roberts CA. And I will never forget my first time on the fireing line. Someone called me over to the side of a gun (self propelled 155) he told me he had something in his eyes just then BANG!!!!!! The sob knew I was new and set me up! Man I about jumped 10 feet in the air! They all got a good laugh, I had to change my shorts... LL~

In the write up it mentions a 75 CC "Kicker" engine under the seat for starting it.  Listen to the video and you will hear the Kicker start then the "BIG" engine start.
WOW

BTW that is not our beloved Sparky setting on it.  Just a look a like.
