An update on Tom Morris

I visited Tom today.....his spirits seem good, and he has a bit more color.
Most notable: he has no tubes or wires connected, although a wireless heart monitor is taped to his chest....
The MD's are now reporting that they are "watching" him, and may not perform surgery Tuesday....
Tom didn't seem real optimistic about a release date....

I'm hoping that people will refrain from ordering stuff from him until he is feeling better....he's the type that will work to fill orders in spite of doctor's orders.....

I'll see him again Tuesday and update then....

 Ever since this news first popped up I've been hoping Tom just stops and takes a well deserved break. We're all lucky he's getting that chance. Take a rest and "regroup" Tom, and we'll catch up with you soon. Wishing you the best.

Thanks for visiting Tom and for keeping us informed.  Hospital stays may be necessary, but are not the most enjoyable things - long stretches of boredom/anxiety/inactivity.  I'm sure Tom can't wait to get back to the "routine".  So thanks for spending your time with him.  I'm sure that it is greatly appreciated.

I hiked up to see Tom today.....his color is pretty good.......

He woke up hungry for the first time since he has been there.........BUT, he is having a procedure @ around 4:00, so they wouldn't let him eat!

According to the MD's and nurses, it's a minor deal....but every time I have had one of these "minor deals", it got scary......

He's mostly tired of being in the hospital......

I put Tom and Caroline on a plane this evening....wheelchair bound but VERY happy to be out of the hospital!

He is very weak and has a "life vest" on...I believe that it's an external defibrillator....

His MD says NOTHING taxing for a while......
