We caught a break in the weather - A day at the field

First flights of 2013!

I got a call from my old flying buddy Kreth and said he was in town and wanted to fly. We met at the local soccer field along with his son Arlan.
The sun was bright and the wind was very light. My first flight was getting the cob webs out of my head and the dust off my plane. I put in two more and felt better about my last flight.

Here are a few photos of Kreth and Arlan getting some air time.

I am looking forward to the 2013 flying season! #^

Thanks for the pics.  I too hope to do more flying this year.  Being that Sunday evening services have been done away with I spent the time cutting the numbers for some planes.   Then it is time for clear coat.

Looks like you guys had good weather.
I'm surprised the wind was mild, it was howling today in Nashville.

Yes, "a great day at the field".  Today Fred ,Doug and I put the first eight flights on the new FinessE.  Field temp....... only31*, but a new planes first series of flights generates it's own kind of "warmth"

All went very well, a few easy field adjustments and then home for a cup of hot coffee......sweet day.  A build log of the plane will be coming this week.

Regards.
