Ty is correct. Ed Elasick won the Air Youth Champs at the '61 Willow Grove Nats with the "Jr Falcon". It was published as the "Topper" in March '62 American modeler. I have both the plans and the aritcle. The original airplanre did have a Fox .25 , and I agree with Ty that a .20 to .25 would be great.

Interestingly, Ed flew a Falcon at the '61 Nats, and surprised us all with his first "Impala" the next spring (1962)

One of our Dallas club members had one almost ready to cover. He had to move, and had to oput his belongings in storage. The "secure" storage area was broken into and they lost many items including the "JR Falcon-Topper" It is a shame because we were going to surprise John D'Ottavio, with all of his Classic airplanes in one place.. The "JD Falcon", "Jerseyan" and "Jr Falcon"

I will make a kit of the "Jr Falcon-Topper" if there are enough SERIOUS replies. Let me know at:    jrfalcon-topper@blueskymodels.net

Any future potential info will be in the vendors section on this site.

Here is a picture of Ed Elasic with the airplane.

One other interesting thing about the "Jr Falcon-Topper" is that there were no exposed controls. The pushrod from flaps to elevator were inside the profile fuselage.
