I've not been involved in modeling for years. so I was wonderong if the natinals still have all the same events as when i was a kid. For instance All FF events including ROW, rowline glider , hand launched glider, outdoor and indoor..paperstick michrofilm, cabin. ornithopter . wakefiald rubber. 1/2 a scale free flight all speed , combat, team race, carrier. c/L scale,FF helecopter, are all these events still part of the nats? I probanly missed a few. jim

Jim, I suspect your memory is of the way-back NATS when all the events were flown at one location, all at the same time.
No, the NATs don't work that way any longer. The number of events, particularly RC, has grown to the point that they cannot be held all at once, even at the Muncie site. Consequently, all of the events are now flown but at different times. When CL is being flown, all of the CL events you mentioned will be flown, but there won't be any Free Flight going on. And while there might be an RC event elsewhere on the Muncie site, nothing really other than CL. Free Flight usually follows a few weeks later, after some RC events have concluded, etc.

The answer is no. CL & FF have been apart for a long time. Anyone know when the year of the last combined Nats.

On the contrary, Jim, the NATs are alive and well. Maybe not what you remember, but, then, what else is?
