Whereas we C/L'ers are glad for any crumbs that fall from the AMA's table, this little video truly pales in comparison and fails to stir the imagination as does the drama, pageantry, and plain fun, that was experienced when viewing "Wired For Excitement".

Sign of the times, I suppose.  H^^

Clair has done several of these videos and posted to facebook. Nicely done.
The last one I saw was on George's Nobler.
I will give it 👍🏼👍🏼

Thanks for sharing Dave.

Sorry Paul, I disagree with "nicely done presentation" Who ever chose this person to narrate this clip and the Nobler clip needs real help in decision making !! <=

Claire does a outstanding job with her monthly broadcast  of Ask Claire , the first friday of each  month   She takes questions during the live broadcast  while inside the AMA museum and does a excellent job of connecting with the viewers. Check it out , you will enjoy  the broadcast and learn about the museums collections and it's operations

The Argus with Todd Lee , George Aldrich original Nobler and several other control line only specials gets more coverage than other  more popular disciplines of AMA .

She mentioned in one show that they needed a spinner for Steve Wooley's Cobra, I contacted her, sent her the correct Veco  spinner , shaft extension and correct era prop, now the cobra is more complete .

I agree with Paul , two thumbs up.

given the amount time they had for the video it was a good video. Our new Executive VP Randy Cameron has been out to Buder Park to see our CL events here in St Louis. Randy supports all types of models, FF, RC and CL so I feel good about it.

She does give a little history on CL flying in her video. I agree with the time constraints and the video should be longer. Maybe she could more videos on each discipline of CL flying and maybe attract more people to our hobby? Tim

... she is doing something none of us seem to be doing. D>K S?P
Would there be complaints if some other AMA member produced a better one?

There are millions of U-tube and other format videos all over the free access web... on any subject you can think of

many Model forums guys do some very good how to or flight videos

Right here on SH are a few notables who can shoot and edit very good videos

I am not a fan of the AMA for various reasons

If someone thinks it can be done better....DO IT!

OK sorry...a tad achy from the cold here in Texas... MY bad...we have Shug...who does do it better...IMO

Yes Shug has done some great videos as well as several other people.  How cold in Texas?  It was 2 degrees according to temp gauges all over town on the way to Church this AM.   H^^
