For here in my district, Dist. VIII:   Mark Johnston 561 votes.
s
Randy Brown Withdrew  (work problems)  ???  Would have liked to see the vote total !  S?P

Others   7

All the districts had -- In My 0pinion -- a terrible showing of voters. Check out your district. Remember your DVP appoints
your contest-board members. Take an interest.  D>K

I know that you are obsessed with AMA politics, but most of the rest of us are not even slightly interested. As indicated by the tiny participation. No matter who gets elected, it's not going to make the slightest bit of difference because the entire organization is run as a good old boys network supporting RC manufacturers/advertisers. The elections are for show purposes only and make no difference to the end result.

Once in a great while, an AMA AVP will actually submit a photo of a C/L stunt model in his monthly column.  I give them and MA credit for the effort.

In District III, there have been choices between those who will print CL news and pictures and those who won't. I am happy to see that someone with an earlier CL background and who has already covered CL events was elected. He has also contributed to my NCCL club newsletter. My group will see themselves again and hear from others in that column. So, for whatever importance that is, the election made a difference.

Hoss, as much time as you have spent with the AMA in the past,  you should remember that percentage wise there is very little support from members when it comes to voting.   Even on rules proposals, being on a rules board, we get very little input on how to vote.  My district was not up for a VP this time so I can't vote on the other districts.  I think if the AMA was as bad as some peole say it is,  Control Line would have been booted out the door a long time ago.   I just wonder now if the Free Flight people complain about the AMA as much.
