Christmas day flights
« on: December 25, 2019, 07:35:08 PM »
We had a 45 degree weather today in Central Pennsylvania.  I flew three flights on my LA 25 powered Shark 402.  I had trouble with the needle setting until the third flight. It was right on.  So I did some Merry Christmas loops.  Altogether, it was a nice time.  I love the easy starting of the LA 25 and the handling of the Shark.

I am wondering who else had Christmas day flights.

Merry Christmas to all.

Does bench break-in count? This afternoon I started breaking-in a Fox .35 to be used on a UKIE-35.

Great combo, the Shark (402?) with the LA.  y1

It was about 40 degrees, mostly cloudy and calm today. More like an early spring day than Christmas here in southern Minnesota. Didn't get out for any flying in but it would have been a good day to put a few up.
Narrowly averting disaster since 1964!

I didn't fly any C/L models, but Sean and I did mess with a free flight model he gave me for Christmas. It got to 70 degrees here in St. Louis, but was a bit windy and we couldn't accomplish much. We'll try for some C/L flying while he's home tomorrow maybe.

No flying for the old DOC as it was a little windy.  Had 8AM Church service and then dinner at oldest daughters place where I ate too much as usual. D>K

*** SIGH ***

Wish I could fly at Delta Park on New Year's Day, but too many other people took off of work that day already...
