So is anybody else just a LITTLE disturbed that the AMA is throwing around donations?

Recently the WWP seemed to do some good for a couple of vets in the Tampa area....
It appears as if the AMA didn't donate directly to the WWP, but sponsored and publicized the fund raising effort....
The Academy retains its 501-C-3 status because it hands out a few scholarships.....

"AMA Clubs donate $100,000 to the Wounded Warrior Project".

"AMA Clubs donate" means something different from "AMA donates".  Think about it.

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

I participated in the National Model Aviation Day and it seems to me that it was billed as a charity event....

Yes, and while you are there do the math. Do I read 68% of the $ went for 'expenses'?
