Looking for sources for aluminum landing gear for profile models in the 35-46 range.
No, I do not want to order a 4 X 8 sheet and have one of the locals shear it up. Annnd no, I do not want to buy any sizes of sheet stock and fiddle around in the garage.
All I want is a good source/supplier for ready made gear. I might be interested in carbon fibre if'in the price was closer to aluminum then it is to funding democrat promises.
Annnnd titanium..... in flat sheet or honeycomb..... would have to be provided ready to mount as my plasma cutter and electron beam welder are on the fritz.
On my Brodak 38 Special, the landing gear-dak is thin, soft, flimsy and very-very bendy. (How bendy? takes a lot of fiddling to straighten....take it out of the truck and put on-the-ground fiddle, start-the-motor fiddle, and after landing, go home and max-fiddle)
Maybe I am being to judgmental, but I am not looking through the Brodak catalog-dak (BTW ..there has to be a contest to find the page in the Brodak catalog that has the printed word "brodak" the most times...... I found one with 18! and have been told I am not even close)
Another of my sources currently has a pile of right sides and no left sides. No re-order date in the forseeable future.
My last source makes a dandy set, but for small-ish models. I tend to build a little tubby.
Sources would be appreciated ............ Thank you in advance,
Vince

How many do you need?

Have you tried Tom Dixon's "Large" profile LG?

Randy has two sizes of polished profile gear. If you need custom designs, contact these guys, they're good!

Vince, I stock RSM aluminum profile landing gear all the time. if you are in love with SIG products try the Fazer profile gear. The 38 Speial gear work fine for that size airplane.
Thanks

well if you didn't have so much Republican debt, maybe you could afford the carbon fiber ones. They are real nice.

President Ossama will ask you to give all your landing gears to the IRS. He will then issue you your "fair share" after repairations have been deducted.
