Spring's almost here in Michigan...we can now see the deer moving around.

In the rest of the country we have Groundhog day.

Since the deer saw their shadow, I guess it's another 6 weeks of winter! HB~>

That second deer is obviously the smarter one.  Think I will stay in Florida.

Did you take this, Dennis?  Or know the person who did?  I'm going to send it to my son and he is going to want to know more.

Gee Denny, if I had known the snow was that deep I would not have gone flying today.  Maybe we were just in the shallow end of the snow pool.....

You are out FLYING in this ...stuff?  You must have your birds equipped with tire chains & AWD.  I hope Johnny Walker isn't in charge of heating the pilots..?   n1 LL~

I try to get in one flight a month and have been pretty successful over the last 5 years or so.  I used my Flitestreak with a single ski and it worked great.  The OS 25 fired up pretty quick with a little shot of lighter fluid.  The planes fly great in the thick air.  I think I did grab a little anti-freeze after the flight though.

I went out to put mail in the mailbox yesterday, Wed, Feb 18th. I noticed a newspaper (Detroit News), in yellow plastic, near the mailbox. Picking it up and removing it from the plastic, I noticed that it was the "Wednesday" edition. Gee, didn't I already get the Wednesday paper earlier this morning?

Looking more closely, I noted that it was dated December 31, 2008. The snow melt finally liberated it after 49 days. It was in perfect condition, just as white as the day it was delivered, New Year's Eve. Frozen the entire time...

Inside, plenty of hopeful stuff about the Obama Administration, the Lions, and the Dow was 1000+ points higher. I worked the Hocus Focus puzzle and chucked it.
