Almost a Cardinal.... Pics
« on: January 09, 2008, 06:32:23 PM »
Well I pulled a Harleyman and worked from home today. <=
I got a little work done on my Cardinal during my breaks.  LL~
Foam wing.
I just stuck it together to see what it is going to look like. Still need to do the motor mounts and doublers.
I am wrapping the whole thing in monokote.

Paul,
Looks good I like RED and BLACK, they look great together...........Don't forget to remove the monokote from the wing in the area that your going to glue so you will a good bond between the wing and fuse...........You are going to love this plane and the way it flys. Way cool. It will take you to a whole new level !!!

Hey!  I resemble that remark.

Looking good my friend. y1  I like the hot dog groupie in the background.
Are you going to wrap the nose in MonoKote also?
If so, you might want to coat a good portion (back to the tank mounts) with Epoxy, prior to Kote application.

I too, like the red and black.

Hey, How are 3 guys that are supposed to be working are online at Control Line Stunt? Only old retired guys are supposed to be on here at this time of the day.
Seriously though, Paul, is that a Brodak Cardinal. Looks nice.

I'm "at work" now also, but I run my own company, so my boss doesn't mind if I check out stunthanger once in a while.   My engineering lab is on the second floor of my house.

Well I have three computers sitting on my desk. So I just hit a KVM switch and bingo I am here. LL~ LL~

This is a scratch built Cardinal with a foam wing. I did not keep track of how much $$$ I spent but I think this plane cost way more then the kit. HB~>
But I am the BOM. #^

Cardinal is Loooookin Goooood!!!! Acording to my wife I should be doing some kind of work around here, buit i think I have heard that story before. It't time to go to the work shop and do what I have been doing. I figure if I move around enough she won't be able to catch me!
