Here's a picture of Dan McEntee flying his Shark on Saturday.

Looks like a good one, thanks for all the great pics. Any details on the green Ringmaster with flaps?

That is one of those Pat Johnston (sp) jobs flown by Tom Dixon in Profile and Expert.  A great contest as always.

Tom Dixon -Controline Sales LLC sells kits for that model.  It is called the Ringmaster 576. I picked up one of his sales flyers at the contest and it has the following description. "It has an "already fully sheeted," triple cored foam wing.  No hardware is included, other than landing gear, and control  surface joiners - you choose your favorite items. This kit is for .40 to .54 engines.  The kit is $150.00 plus $20.00 shipping.

Hope this helps.

To be exact the plane is called "576D" D for Dixon. Probably has a different airfoil and does have different flap arrangement. Both are good flying planes but the Dixon is lots easier to build.
I may be wrong but I doubt it.
I wouldn't take her to a dog fight even if she had a chance to win.

Thanks Dave for the great pics. I THINK you got about all of the planes there. Great contest, great people, and great food Fri. at Charlie Reeves home which was prepared by his wife, Nancy, and sister in law Sherrie. No store bought ready made food with these ladies- every thing homemade.  They also had great food Sat. and Sun. when Charlie's Paducah Aero Club cooked fried fish, hamburgers, Bratwurst, bar-b-q beans, slaw, and other stuff. Their grill and fry guys can really cook. Best fried catfish I've had in a long time. I seem to be emphasizing the food and hospitality, but why not it was great and that's what you get when you go to Paducah.
However, the contest competition was great too. Very closely contested in all classes, especially in P.A. Expert on Sunday. Kathleen and I look forward to going back next year.

Thanks for the Ringmaster info guys, I was just curious which version that green one was, nice looking model. I've got one of Pat's Ringmaster 526 Ultimate kits on the shelf, another one to get at someday.
