Title: all is good with the World and where are the Kids

went out to the FMA free flight field this morning to run some engines. FMA has been maintaining this field for 20 years .recently we have had to hold our monthly contest on weekdays we are all retired . it has been taken over on the weekends by houndreds of motorcycles, atv's and side by sides.

it is quite a sight to see 75-100 cars ,suv's motorhomes up and down the field canopy's up and BBQ;s going'

the neat part is that there was kids of all age's (didn't see one video game)and women of all ages .most in full helmits and safety gear having a blast riding motorcycles and ATV;s with their boyfriends,girlfriends, husbands fathers and Mothers

Picture this Whites,Blacks and Hispanics of all ages all in one place having a good time on Fathers Day  THERE is hope yet. RAD

And I'll bet not a single one of them was interested in your engines, if you did run them.

There are just as many young kids now as there were 50 years ago.  They are interested in different things now.


Aviation, of any kind, is not one of them.

it is a large plot of land here in palm bay off of Bombardier rd. the roads were put in but than things fell apart.i don't know how big it is but big enough to hold the FF team trials more than once and the FF KOI every year for at least the last 20 years /we have a tractor and bush hog and cut it two or 3 times a year.the grass is too course to use for U/C
