Here is the All American SR with the white & red. Now it will be back masked and masking stencils applied for lettering and stars. The flag pattern is a lot of work. This is for a customer on the Left Coast.
The Super Duper Zilch is now ready for a talc coat and will be finished in the next few weeks also.

Really lookin good Tom, Is it dope or something else?
-
Lee,
The All American Sr has no dope at all.
The plyspan is applied with Balsarite direct to the bare wood. Then a few coats of polycrylic. Then sandable gray auto primer, auto basecoat colors. then auto clearcoat to finish it. So, far not a concours effort (not expected on an oldtime}.. but not bad either.
The jury (me) is still out on if I would do it this way again.
The Super Duper Zilch, pictured in the Zilched or Zilchschmidt thread here and on Stuka, will have the traditional dope/talc type finish.

Thanks Doc,
I should have more pictures in a few days. I should be able to get the blue, the stars and lettering on today. (Wed 10-04-06)
Yeah.. although I am a rigorous supporter of the BOM in regular stunt, it is nice to have the loose rules and fun attitude in OTS
