A lot of you guys would know little bit about me......probably more from posting on the other forum as GTRBABY.......
Although you kinda get to know people by what they post, I thought I would tell ya a little bit more about who I am and what I do etc, in a little bit more detail the my profile.....this might bore you..... ha haaaa
I am Wynn Robins, 30 years old, living in Auckland New Zealand. (Those of you that don’t know, New Zealand is in the South Pacific.)

I am newly married (5th Nov last year) and have no kids at this stage.

My favourite model that I have currently is the Vector 40 I built late last year. Totally surprised me the first time I flew it.

I build all my planes in the spare bedroom of the 2 bedroom apartment I live in with my wife. I am not allowed to paint in here, so only use film as covering for my airplanes.

My biggest passion in life is fishing. I have been fishing since I was 5 years old I have learnt a thing or two about patience due to this…..New Zealand has some of the best fishing in the world, that is a fact.
I keep tropical fish and have had a fish tank in every place I have lived since I can remember.

I collect control line plans……I have approximately 700 stored in Digital format, as I scan them to my database. I am in the “trading” game. I trade plans for ones I don’t have for ones I do. I can enlarge, reduce, scale, flip, negate, mirror, any of the files I have and print them…..this is a kickback of the document control job….as mentioned above.
I have traded with many of you guys…….and I thank you for that
I have made a lot of friends through flying airplanes, and posting on these forums. Although I have not met a lot of you, I consider a few of you to be good friends Greg, I hate to say it, but this includes you. HA HA
I hope to make it to the US one day and would love to attend the Brodak Flyin or something similar to meet a lot of you.

It's a pleasure to meet you. What a great wedding picture <=. When you visit the US the event to come for is the Brodak Flyin. Nothing else like it. The main goal is to have fun and everyone does. I live about 12 miles from Brodak's so you're welcome to stay with me. You can use one of my planes if you would like to participate. j1
What format are your plans in? I maintain and make changes to all of the plans for Brodak's kits in Autocad. I also set them up for the laser cutter. I've only drawn one so far. Working on a couple of others. We have 10 or 12 on the drawing board just about all the time. I go in a few times a week for about 60 hours a month. What a great part time job now that I'm retired.
Hope to meet you in person one of these days. :)

Geez Wynn, I dont know if I should feel honored or cursed that you consider me a friend ;D ;D ;D b1 b1 hahahaha, naa, I'm glad you keep emailing me and bugging me about building.
Wynn didnt tell you guys this, but he jumps out of airplanes too. I still cant figure out how he gets into a 40 sized stunter to jump from, or gets his chute to open from 60ft, but he does :D :D ;)
Hey Wynn, Oct 23 2003 is when I got that stuff from you on ebay, 2.5 years we been emailing, been good, cant wait to have a beer in real life with ya
now send me that Cobra kit ;D

Wynn is a super nice guy, when my son Ryan and I started flying about 3 years ago Wynn sent Ryan a birthday gift. Buster trainer kit and a OS .15!!!
It was Ryan's first build he did by himself. He still fly's it, and has let a few of his friend fly it.
He is a giver to the sport. A hit of karma to Wynn!

Yup, Wynn is a good guy. x:
There have been a few times that we kept firing E-mails back and forth for hours, into the wee hours of the night (morning for Wynn).
I get a big kick being able to correspond with someone from another part of the world in real time.
It would be a real treat to get together and fly some day.

Uh... Chris, that is not a plane. But after a while they will sometimes run you in circles.

Of course they do... It's on the shelf at your local Block Buster video store. Maybe also available through your cable company. >:D
...At least the Rogers and Hamerstein (sp?) version... ;)

Sam, I have plans in PDF DWG and TIFF format. not too many in DWG......
I might very well take you up on the offer to stay for a Brodak Fly in.........mighty tempting.....
