Title: Akromaster and the fox .15x
Post by: DanielGelinas on April 21, 2014, 07:05:58 PM
I built an akromaster a few years ago for my son. at the time i put an os la.10 on the plane with the stock muffler. It flew ok and was very quiet.

Just for kicks, I pulled the os 10 off the plane and put the old fox 15x in its place.

First off, it was very loud!! But man that little engine ran great! Started easily, ran it on 25 %nitro and 15% nitro. Engine had no problems pulling the plane.

As for the plane, it was much much more sensitive. Flew much better.

Anyhow,  it was my first flight of the year. Then i got my oriental B40 out. What a difference!
Five flites total... One big grin.

Hope everyone had a great easter!

Cheers,

Dan

Did not get to fly Easter myself, what with Church activities and the feast over at my daughters place.   Did I mention I eat too much.  Of course those pictures of me flying tell the story.
