It is wonderful to be able to do that when you have all of that head room. Otherwise someone has to look at it and say that's nice.Dennis
Mike I have needed to do something similar for a while now and will probably copy your methodOne thing I see in the last photo is the likely event of me dragging the wing skin on the sharp EMT edge so I think I will dip each end in the liquid rubber used for adding covering to pliers and suchhttp://www.lowes.com/pd_230364-61158-11219_0__?productId=3760695&cm_mmc=SCE_PLA_ONLY-_-Paint-_-SprayPaint-_-3760695:Plasti_Dip&CAWELAID=1463443634&kpid=3760695&CAGPSPN=pla&k_clickID=744fc317-1b40-d409-2a40-000010e3a70f
I did similar.....
I just remembered why I procrastinate so much on this project (I have all the materiel on site form all my other home repair projects)For some reason no house framer or shed builder (in my area) can find it in their craft to place wall studs on 16 inch centers and each one must be found with a stud finder and marked...a royal pain
I made a similar holder several years ago to hold stunt models. Because they have longer wingspans than the smaller combat ships, I staggered the holders in the vertical plane to allow the wings to overlap and thus save some space.Later - Bob Hunt
