I know that Sparky doesn't control the advertisements that pop up on Stunt Hanger, so please don't anyone take this as a jab at him! But sometimes these advertisements are just weird - like the one about the Russian babes looking for love (as if a geezer like me ... well, you know.)

But today, this one popped up for the NRA. What? I join the NRA and they give me a jack-knife? What's the old joke about showing up with a knife only to find out that what you showed up at was actually a gunfight? How about, instead, I join the NRA and they give me an AR-15?

I joined the NRA and didn't get a free knife and it was still one of the better things I did this year!

I re-upped and got the lock back knife - it's my favorite tool for scraping guitar bindings.

Scott. I have mentioned this same thing and my post went away the first day. Sparky ask us to not run a add blocker on here but this is the worst site I go to for pop ups. My tablet will not block them. My laptop stops them. Now watch some one will say “I don’t get any” that is because they are running a pop up blocker on a desktop or laptop.

The ones that bother me are the ones that have no timer and no exit other than the back arrow. Still, if it helps Sparky pay for this forum I will live with it.

I don't mind the adds - It just struck me as humorous that an organization associated with fire-arms was using a jack-knife as a promotional.

I purchased a Breitling Navitimer, The blue face one with the SS band, years ago.

They sent me chocolates and their catalog. Their catalog is amazing, half inch thick, full color, really great photos and printed on thicker quality paper. Really nice.

Breitling did this for two years. Sometimes you see their catalogs on ebay. I still have them someplace?

I ate the chocolates.

WTF! I wish to complain. I'm jealous.

All I get are adverts about Prostrate exams and garage doors. Not a Russian babe anywhere to be seen.

I have no control what pops up on your computer. How it works is what you search for puts a cookie on YOUR computer and the code searches things you are looking for and places them in front of you. Its so bad your phone is listening to you and relaying this cookie to your computer. Via Google and YouTube (same company) Farcebook is just as bad.

I can prove they are listening> John needed cabinets and we talked on the phone and I started getting ad for cabinets and counter tops.

I see all kinds of stuff popping up on here. If they don't know by now I'm for our President. All the women looking for men some times are nice to look at but can they cook? All the other stuff I just scroll on past. If every body that complained about the ads would send Sparky a C-note every month he could probably drop the ads. I don't think he is trying to make a living keeping the site going.
