Howdy ya'll !
Well today I added to my March flight log. I got to hang out with the NW Fireballs AGAIN ! (I was 15 minutes late, the early church service started at 8:45 not 8:30 like I thought – You know the Baptist services are longer then an hour) LOL.
Other then a little drizzle and some mild temperatures the weather was great for flying model planes. Art, Bill, Jeff, Leo, and Richard – Thanks for a wonderful day.
Richard let me fly one of his many Tutor 2’s. I am always a little apprehensive about flying someone else’s plane but after the second flight I really liked the way the Tutor handles, compared to my planes. I had line tension in all my sloppy maneuvers. I like to feel the plane out on the end of the lines and without any sag in the lines. I am not saying the Tutor is the best ARF out there but I feel this is one plane that I could get use to flying. It goes where you point it. (Some people think it flys like a bus, but what do they know… Art)
Leo had a very nice Bear Nobler. Check out the muffler on that plane. At first I thought it could it be a Fox .35 with the new ceramic P&L’s. But is was something different. Can’t remember what Leo said was powering this plane. (OBTW Leo – I was talking to Marvin Denny and he says you are still a young kid.)
Any way what I am trying to say with this post is I had a great day with my NW friends! And fun was had by all. Thanks for the memories guys!
I am truly blessed with great friends.
Here is a link to a fun day.
PS- I took my Cheezehead buddies with me, I had my Cheezehead shirt on today.
