Title: ACRO-60 BUILDING SEQUENCE PHOTOS
Post by: Ted Winterman on March 26, 2009, 10:33:34 AM
More wing details.

Tip weight container is light weight aluminum cigar holder. Plastic tube eliminates vibrations/movement. Cap screws on/off. Dense foam
takes up 2/3rds of tube to keep tip weight towards tip.

     Slider for leadout adjustment.    D>K

Hi Ted....looks real nice.  If I may make a suggestion.....cut a small peice of cork to fit inside the cap of your weight box/tube.  Otherwise the tip weight may eventually come right thru the cap.  Don't ask me how I know this! LOL

Hi Gravitywell.

I failed to mention that I made a steel disk that I JB welded to the inside of the cap. But I will take your advice and CA some cork
to the inside also.

    Thank you!   H^^
