I have an old Accentor that has never been flown. ( 94-95 Brodak kit ) I have mounted a K&B 40 for power. What build weight is acceptable with an empty tank ready to fly?
Thanks in advance

If you go over to Stuka Stunt Works and do a search for Accentor you will find a post DOC's Accentor. Mine is heavy and flown with a RO-Jett .40 REFI which is a heavy engine. Flies fine at 59 ounces on 65 foot .015 lines.

Realistically...try for under 55 ounces. Under 50 ounces would be ideal. K&B 40 should work well but do some bench runs to become familier with its running characteristics. If it comes out nose heavy Randy probably has a tongue muffler that will work. If it is over 55 ounces, don't worry 'bout it-go fly.
