I think the first pics were in 1989, so 21 years!

What memories!
The 1990, Lawrenceville NATS, top picture is of Derek and my son Craig (with the floppy hat)
The bottom picture has Todd Lee talking to John Davis (in the black shorts). We sure miss John. He left us much too early.

Notice the newly paved runway. Black asphalt + black plane = Derek bouncing his wheels on the runway during his inside loops! :)

Yeah, it sure brings back some memories of when I first started flying CL back in September 2005 (RC in '03). Man 5 years have gone by since I couldn't even fly level.
Derek, how old were you when you started flying? I was 11.

Wow! Those are some cool pictures! Alot has changed, I hardly recognize anybody in those pics. Fortunately for all concerned Derek has moved beyond the snazzy socks and shorts he wore in the June '86 picture LL~

The Sweeper!
-
Spiderman!
-
Derek,
I first saw Windy's "Sweeper" in Union N.J. about 1962. We all thought that he was crazy.... We were right!
-
Too funny, both Brad and I are in the background of the Sweeper shot taking pictures ourselves. I think everyone wanted to document how crazy Dale and Derek were for building that thing and then flying it on a fridigid and very windy day at Tifton! I need to see if I can find those pictures...

Derek, Great stuff brother!!! What fantastic pictures you've collected through out the years. The one of your Dad looking like he's watching a high wire act is priceless. Derek one of the real cool things I have noticed about the Dude from Georgia is He hasn't forgotten his roots. Thanks so much for the pictures and all your HELP!!! Keep having a blast.
